John has been a Barrister and Solicitor since 1971, graduating that year from Auckland University.

For the past 20 years his practice has specialised in commercial and company law, business acquisitions, financing, trusts and wills.

John has experience in and continues to hold a number of company directorships as well as being a trustee in various charitable and family trusts.

He has been a council member of the Waikato Bay of Plenty District Law Society and is currently a member of the Society’s Admissions and Property Law committees.
